INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

The Maghreb Economic Forum is accepting applications for interns who will be supporting the Research and Do team over the course of three months.

The Maghreb Economic Forum (MEF) is an independent Think-and-Do Tank founded in 2011 on the premise of supporting economic and social development in the Maghreb region.
Our mission is to convene and mobilize diverse actors to catalyze sustainable economic and social development in the Maghreb.

MEF believes that an informed, active citizenry is the key to building sustainable economies and inclusive societies. MEF seeks to promote an informed public debate on critical social and economic issues through evidence-based research and its translation into concrete policy recommendations.

Successful candidates must be able to:

Meet strict deadlines while providing quality content.

Have excellent writing skills in French or Arabic or English.

Demonstrate strong critical and analytical skills.

Demonstrate interest in the MEF research programs.

Show willingness to learn and collaborate.


Submission Guidelines for Communication Team

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

The internships will last 3 months. Selected candidates’ primary task will be supporting the team by developing and adapting MEF’s work content to different types of dissemination tools every month.

–  Every intern who successfully finishes the internship will receive an Internship Certificate from MEF.

Submission Guidelines for Research Team

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

The internships will last 3 months. Selected candidates’ primary task will be supporting the op-ed section by writing two policy-related op-ed of 700-800 words every month. Depending on their expertise, interns will be assigned to one of the following policy areas:

  • Social development and inclusion
  • Environment and Renewable Energies Transition
  • Regional Cooperation in the Maghreb
  • Security Issues, Preventing and Countering Radicalization in the Maghreb

Every intern will be assigned to one policy area, depending on the demonstrated interest and knowledge. Interns will receive training, instructions, and mentorship in writing op-eds to meet the professional requirements of MEF. All internships are home-based (online), part-time and unpaid.
